Benefit Concert for Bike Recycle Vermont

Singer Jody Albright will join Pine Street Jazz in a benefit concert at the Shelburne Town Hall on November 10th. Come for an evening of great music for a great cause!

Pine Street Jazz is an instrumental sextet. The group performs selections drawn from the mainstream of American jazz, featuring works by many of the genre's greatest composers, including Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk and Charles Mingus. The band's repertoire also includes swing, bebop, Latin, funk, blues and ballads, plus a number of original tunes composed by members of the band. The ensemble is often described as "smooth" and "tight" - swing dancers love their sound.

Along with great music, the event will feature a bake sale and silent auction of over 40 items, including gift certificates at local restaurants, handcrafted wood and leather items, original artwork, and a two-day captained sailboat cruise!
